The Foundation shall not be liable for personal injury, loss or damage sustained by volunteers during fieldwork or events, except where caused by the Foundation's gross negligence.
All donations, sponsorships, grants, membership contributions and other voluntary financial support made to LokPrerana Foundation are used solely to further our charitable objectives and social development initiatives, as set out in our Memorandum of Association.
Contributions made to the Foundation are voluntary and shall not be considered investments, deposits, financial products or arrangements that promise returns, profit or ownership rights.
Tax exemption status: LokPrerana Foundation holds provisional registration under Section 332(8) and provisional approval under Section 354(4) of the Income-tax Act, valid for Tax Years 2026-27 to 2028-29. Donors should consult these registrations and applicable law regarding eligibility for tax deductions.
Foreign contributions: The Foundation is not currently registered under FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) and cannot presently accept contributions from foreign sources or foreign accounts.
